These photographs fall into the basic repair category. Here we're likely to find a photo that needs several adjustments to color and contrast, and adjustments to a shadowed area partially obscuring a face or other crucial area. It also includes all that is done in the quick fix category, e.g. sharpening, brightening etc.

England/Holland/Scotland-NY-NJ-CT-RI-MA, ca. 1628 to present. Hanson, England-NH-Canada-VT-ME-NY-NJ, ca. 1600s to present. The Hansons were probably Late Loyalists. Carr, Meagher, Great Britain-Canada, and Commeau, probably France-Canada, 1800s or before (?). And many, many more! We've found some family names back as far as the 13th-14th centuries and ostensibly to the 10 century.
