THE LEVITTOWNER

                      Ladies Home Journal Book of Interior Decoration

This LEVITTOWNER living room was published in the above book in 1954. It shows the room with the wall open to extend the living room space. As the family expanded, the wall could be pulled closed to create a small bedroom. I'm not sure if this is a model house, or an actual home in Levittown, PA.

There are some LEVITTOWNERS in FARMBROOK, and possibly in STONYBROOK and GREENBROOK, that still have the sliding wall in working condition. Click to view full sized pictures.
