In 2004, darcy began a more fanciful line of dolls, beginning with this sparkly fairy. This elfin being is 28 inches tall, has a sculpted leather face and lamb's wool hair. she wears velvet and wool clothing with shoes of felt. She is decorated all over with gold leaves and red flowers, and golden chains and white beads. her shoes are adorned with metallic beads and she's sprinkled all over with sparkly fairy dust. She carries a scroll and tassels in her sculpted wire right hand, and holds a jeweled staff in her left. A basket with holly leaves sits next to her left foot and a decorative fence covers the front of the base.
