1830s northern plains style woman's fancy dress with complete belt kit. The dress is made entirely by hand from four brain tanned deer skins, glass trade and pony beads and antique tin cones, which sound softly with the slightest movement. It is also hand fringed, asymmetrically, to follow the natural lines of the skins.
the strike-o-light bag is made of deerskin, and entirely lined with doeskin. it's sewn of waxed linen, decorated with glass seed beads and antique tin cones. it contains dried grass, flint and steel for starting fires.
the knife is constructed of deerskin with a rawhide inner skin. it's sewn with waxed linen and decorated with antique tin cones and glass seed beads, the pattern covering one side completely. included is a bone handled steel knife.
