Jeans St. Germain, 70s vintage size 6, nice whiskers/hige/ tiger striping; nicely worn in. Zip ankles. Waist about 25"; a 10 3/4" rise; 18" side to side at hip. Inseam, 27 1/4". These jeans are known for their great fit: "it’s worth noting that George Rudes founded Saint Germain in the 70’s (a con-temporary sports-wear company known for their great fitting and stylish jeans".

      

Suede buckskin hip-hugger hot pants, 1960s vintage shorts, with lace up front, purchased at a head shop in Trenton NJ or in Philadelphia PA circa 1969. Vintage sz. 6, measures 14 1/2" across at waistline; 8 3/4" rise. At hip about 17 1/2" across. Length at side, 19 1/4", at centre back leg, 10 3/4". At front centre leg, about 9". Back waist is darted for sleek fit. Suede flap behind lacing. Tobacco brown suede vest or tabard, handmade & possibly one-of-a-kind. Slips over the head and ties at sides, reticulated stretchable design on both front and back. Perfect for the Renaissance Faire or Rendezvous. Vintage 1960s buckskin lace front hip-hugger mini-skirt, a great reminder of hippie days! This butter-scotch color skirt was purchased at a head shop in Trenton NJ or in Philadelphia PA circa 1969. It measures 14 3/4" side to side at waist; 17 1/2"-18" at hips, depending on how low it's worn. Darted front and back for shaping. Grosgrain facing at waist. Suede flap behind lacing. A few "dents" or "dings" in the leather just adds to its charm. The glue holding the hem is pretty much dried up. Front length, 12 3/4"; side length, 13 1/2"; back length 13 7/16". Side to side at hem,    20 1/2". No side seams, front and back seams only.

Circa 1980s JouJou faded black ultra tight jeans, 98% cotton and 2% Elastique. Side zipper, no pockets. All measurements UNSTRETCHED! About 24" waist, darted at back for shaping. Hips about 32". Overall length 37 1/2", 11 1/4" rise. Inseam about 28 1/2". Vintage size 5/6.

Black stretch 5-pocket jeans, 96% cotton, 4% Spandex, by Moda Int'l. Probably mid 1980s. Waist, seam to seam, 12"; hips seam to seam, 17"; overall length 38 3/4". Inseam, 29" and rise 10".

1980s black Moda Int'l 5 pocket jeans, 96% cotton, 4% Lycra. Waist is 24"-25" with a 10" rise. Overall length, 40". 29 3/4" inseam. Marked size 2, obviously after the garment industry decided women would buy into the changed sizing. No surprise, they did!

Vintage 70s Via West 5 pocket jeans with tapered legs and zip ankles. Faded with light tiger striping/hige/whiskering. there is a 19" manufacturer's flaw down back right leg under the pocket. Measurements: 25" waist, 18" seam to seam at hip. Overall length, 36 1/2"; rise, 10 3/4"; inseam, 26 1/2".

JouJou stretch jeans, very tight fitting, circa 1980s, 98% cotton and 2% Elastique. The faded blue look denim pants have a side button waistband and zipper, no pockets, for a very slick, beat look. 24"-25" waist; 32" hips, unstretched. 11" rise, 38" length overall, 28" inseam. These and the black no pocket JouJous look great with oversize shirts, tunics or very vintage ponchos.

1970s Vintage Jean St. Germain ankle-zip jeans, known for their great fit: "it’s worth noting that George Rudes founded Saint Germain in the 70’s (a contemp- orary sportswear company known for their great fitting and stylish jeans". These are 12 3/4" across at waist, 18 1/2" seam to seam at hip, about 11 1/2" rise. 37" overall length with 27 1/4" inseam. Bronze button stamped Jean St Germain Paris around edge with J St G at centre. Buttonhole is frayed; nice hige/ whiskering. There is a hole in the left knee. Zip ankles. Red St. Germain label on back pocket.
 

Tan cigarette pants, vintage 1970s doing retro 1950s! At the waist, from side to side, 11 1/2"; rise, 11 1/2" rise; 16 1/2" side to side at hip. Overall length, 40"; inseam, 29 1/4"

Bakardi Jeans, made in Israel in the early 1980s. Sued by the Bacardi Company, Bakardi was no longer able to use the name on their products. Waist, side to side, is 12 3/4"; 11 1/4"rise. Zip ankles. Overall length, 3.8"; 27 1/2" inseam. Front pockets are riveted.

Jean St. Germain, nicely worn with tiger striping/hige. Bronze waist button. Frayed buttonhole on waistband. Zip ankles, Red St. Germain tag on back pocket. Measurements: 12 3/4" side to side at waistband; 18 1/2" side to side at hip. 11 1/2" rise; 37" overall length; 28" inseam. .

Marc Phillipe Jeans, USA. 98% cotton, 2% Lycra. These jeans are a faded blue with ankle zippers. Measurements: 12 1/8" side to side at waist; 17" side to side at hips; 10 3/4" rise. 38" overall length with a 28" inseam. Lightly warm.

Rust cotton/cotton blend full straight leg trousers with channeled hems for tightening with removable D-ring straps, e. g. for wearing with boots, or just for fun. Front lined pockets, adjust -able waistband, back zipper. Overall length 43"; 25 1/2" waist; 30 1/2". 35-36" hips, though meant to be worn a bit loose. Leg width at bottom, 21 1/2" Darted back, slight gathering into front waistband.

Early 1970s vintage lime or poison green (synthetic/cotton?) blend twill trousers with flared legs. Metal engraved heart shaped button on waistband, slacks darted at waist for shaping. Front nylon zipper. Small hole at left hemline. Waist, 11 1/2" side to side; 12" rise; 16 1/4" at hip side to side. Inseam, 29 1/2". In storage more than 30 years.

JouJou deep black cotton/lycra 5 pocket jeans, seldom worn, circa 1980s, vintage size 5-6. Sexy, slim fit. Leather/ leatherette tag on back. Un-stretched measurements: 11 1/4" waist side to side; 10 3/4" rise; 15 1/2" side to side at hip. 38" overall, 29" inseam.

1970s vintage 3-piece blue suit, Chinese style. Trousers with curved cuffs, faced with floral fabric to match the blouse (seen on page 1). Lined or reversible jacket, but buttons on blue side only. Loop closures. Turn back cuffs on jacket and trousers. Blouse has mandarin collar and cap sleeves. Slacks have no-band waist, back zip, darts for shaping.
Vintage 1960s olive or loden green tweed skirt, slubbed texture, possibly a cotton blend. Vintage size 13 with A-line shape and inverted front pleat. 14" at waist seam to seam Button waistband, button hole frayed. 24" long, hips 20" side to side. 31 1/2" side to side at hem with pleat stretched out.

      

12 1/2" side to side at waist; 17 1/2" at hip; rise about 10 3/4". 30" inseam. Jacket has mandarin collar, drop shoulders, boxy shape & curved side seams. About 16-17" across shoulders; 25 3/4" sleeve; from underarm 20". Back neckline to hem 27". Seam to seam at underarms 20". Blouse 14" shoulders; 23" neckline to hem. 33-34" bust; 14 1/2" seam to seam at darted waist, 36" at bottom.
